This is a fantastic series. I didn't even mind buying the 4th book on its own after purchasing the first 3 in a bundle.

One of the things that sets this series apart is that Britt, our protagonist, is more than just a narrator things happen to, she is an enjoyable character to follow. Oftentimes I find I like the male lead, but the female feels like more of a plot decide than a person--happily that is not the case with Britt Arthurs. She is a rational woman in her mid-twenties making the best of her unusual circumstances & seems to be aware that she can't elevate her personal desires over the commitments of the role she is forced to play. A refreshing turn for a woman in YA fantasy.

K.M. Shea does it again. I was eagerly awaiting this latest installment in the King Arthur series, and it did not disappoint. I felt like this part of the story had a little less of the witty banter that the previous three did; but it had a little more drama and emotional pull. At one point, I wanted to slap Merlin as bad as Britt did. I also felt his terror that something bad was about to happen to her. The relationship between Merlin and Britt is starting to develop, and I can see it going somewhere...but I can't figure out exactly how it's going to end. (which is a good thing!) I love all of this author's books, and I highly recommend digging in and reading. Just be sure to start with #1 in this series, please don't jump in at #4, because you'll miss some really good story telling. If you haven't read Rumpelstilskin or Red Rope of Fate, you must!!

I love this series, it makes you laugh and sets your heart flying. It's such a sweet story that you never want it to end.
I love all of the books of this series! I bought the first one and couldn't put it down and so I bought the whole set. Truelly a wonderful read. I would highly recommend it!
Great next installment of the King Arthur series. I adore Britt's character. The continuation and further development of this story and the interactions with all the characters are so fun. We definitely get some very interesting revelations but then BAM it's the end of the book, so I'm now dying for the next book to come out. *cliffhanger alert*
I was so happy to find out that this was available. it had been so long since I had read the last one that I had feared I wouldn't remember it, but I did and this was fantastic.
I knew a little something something would happen with Britt and Merlin. Merlin is just too young and handsome for it not to. I hope their relationship progresses.
And Lancelot is just a douche bag...
